John Lyall.png

Trained at the Architectural Association, John Lyall established his reputation as an innovative young architect in the 1980s with a number of landmark projects at home and abroad.

John has a successful track-record for his work on adaptations of historic buildings, winning numerous awards for this type of work, in the form of Civic Trust awards, RIC and RIBA awards and British Archaeological awards.

As with all the artists in the Thames Group, John also has a connection to the river, having recently designed the huge Thames side sewage waste recycling plant at Crossness.
