Tadeus is an Essex based artist whose work is informed by nostalgia and forgotten popular culture. In 2009 he was commissioned to produce storyboards, graphics and animations for ‘Oil City Confidential’, Julian Temple’s award winning film on the Essex pub rock band Dr Feelgood, and Richard England’s TV documentary, ‘East End Babylon’. In 2017 his one man show, ’The man with the face from outer space on his faith and grace’ at the Cadiz Gallery Greenwich was a direct response to watching and listening to Blockheads bassist Norman Watt Roy and was described at the time as “Kandinsky Meets Pub-Rock”.
