Steve studied at Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art where he was TI Group Scholar. His work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, notably at Sadie Coles HQ in London. In 2012 Steve won the East England prize in the National Open Art Competition and in 2014 he was selected for the London heats of Sky Arts ‘Portrait Artist of the Year’ award. In 2018 Steve moved to China where he continues to work as an artist and it is this location that influenced the content of his All Kinds of Naughty exhibition piece.
