Charles is an actor, writer, director for theatre and film.  For theatre he adapted and directed Bill Bryson’s hilarious travelogue, ‘The Lost Continent’ which he later reworked for BBC World Service Radio. His film work includes, ‘Caliban Remix’ and ‘Los Angeles Fever Dream’ co-produced with Starving Artists Theatre of Los Angeles.  Most recently he directed himself in Edgar Allan Poe's chilling short story, ‘The Tell Tale Heart’ which won the 'Best Horror' award at the ‘Cannes Short Film Festival’ and 'Best Actor' statuettes at the Los Angeles ‘Global Shorts’ awards and the ‘Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema’.
