Charles is an actor, writer, director for theatre and film.  For theatre he adapted and directed Bill Bryson’s best selling travelogue ‘The Lost Continent’ which he later reworked for BBC World Service Radio and most recently in 2019 Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’. His film work includes ‘Caliban Remix’ and ‘Los Angeles Fever Dream’ co-produced with Starving Artists Theatre of Los Angeles. In 2018 he directed and performed Edgar Allan Poe's chilling short story, ‘The Tell Tale Heart’ winning the ‘Best Horror' award at the ‘Cannes Short Film Festival’ and ‘Best Actor’ statuettes at the Los Angeles ‘Global Shorts’ awards and the ‘Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema’.
